Earlier in the week we reported news of Thanasi Kokkinakis’ strange interlude with a Maui Jim advert at the Monte-Carlo Masters, thinking that all was well after the scary fall that the Aussie suffered. After all, he did finish the match, a 7-5, 6-4 loss at the hands of Russia’s Karen Khachanov.
But a Twitter video posted on Monday revealed that Kokkinakis was now walking on crutches.
The oft-injured Aussie confirmed his status.
Let’s hope he’s okay. More important, let's hope the tournament thinks long and hard about moving those unecessary signs.
