Video: Andre Agassi vs. Maria Sharapova in Stuttgart


Maria Sharapova is an Andre Agassi fan and this week in Stuttgart she faced off against the Hall of Famer.

It was a temporary mini blue court in front of the Porsche Museum rather than red clay court of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix where the current and former French Open champions met in a battle-of-the-sexes exhibition.

"I know Maria for a number of years now and she's a delightful lady," Agassi said. "I always enjoy being with her. On a tennis court it's never happened before."

Reigning Stuttgart champion Sharapova said the large fan turnout for the exhibition is a testament to Agassi's popularity.

"Obviously to have Andre back in Stuttgart is a very big deal for everyone," Sharapova said. "And you see what his popularity is around the world. He's so global."
