In celebration of its 20th anniversary on the web, ESPN.com listed its top 20 athletes of the last 20 years. Roger Federer and Serena Williams both cracked the Top 10, joining such megastars as Tom Brady, Tiger Woods and the top dog on the list—Michael Jordan.

Williams came in 6th, while Federer ranked just ahead of her at No. 5.

Federer, along with Lionel Messi and Usain Bolt, was one of only three non-American players on the list. Rafael Nadal, just three Grand Slam titles behind Federer and still 28 years of age, was not given mention.
